Additional Information

Peter Joseph Mauren:

*RELN: 4GGF (6)

Notes:

In the 1800 Müsch register, as of April 5, 1800, P. Josephus Mauren and A. Maria Minwegen and their son Petrus were living with Petrus Mauren and M. Barbara Nelles and their son Wilhelmus.
--From "Antweiler Ahr Kirchenbuch, 1533-1929."

Petrus Josephus was listed as a child of Petrus Mauren and Maria Barbara Nelles in the 1785 register. However this son was not listed as a child in the 1800 register. I assume that P. Josephus Mauren is the son of Petrus Mauren and Maria Barbara Nelles, that he married and that he lived with his parents in 1800.

Anna Maria Minwegen:

*RELN: 4GGM (6)

Notes:

There were two daughters each named Anna Maria Minwegen, one born 1772, the other 1779. A list of parishioners in Müsch, Germany for 1793 shows the family of Mathias Minwegen and Anna Catharina Hoffmann. Only one Anna Maria Minwegen is listed, with the notation "nata [born] 1779." The Anna Maria born in 1772 may have died and the Anna Maria born in 1779 was likely named in her honor. I therefore conclude the Anna Maria Minwegen who married Peter Joseph Mauren was born in 1779. Note also Anna Maria and Anna Catharina each married spouses named Peter Joseph Mauren, but each was from a different Mauren family.
