Joseph F. Voisin, 71, of 2100 Celina Road in St. Marys, died at 8:08 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at his residence. He was born Dec. 31, 1942, in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., to Joseph and Fetta Grace (Martin) Voisin. On Sept. 5, 1989, in Sevierville, Tenn., he married Lana Jean Minkner-Zeigler, who survives.

He is also survived by: son, Joseph (Patricia) Voisin, of St. Marys, son, Michael (Diane) Voisin, of Wapakoneta, daughter, Melissa Craft, of Mansfield, daughter, Jodie (Harlan) Cornell, of St. Marys, daughter, Amanda (Will) Jackson, of Wapakoneta, step-daughter, Darla Cost, of St. Marys, step-son, Max Zeigler, of Wapakoneta, step-son, Lee Zeigler, of St. Marys; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Tim) Snyder, of Wapakoneta, brother, Jim (Susie) Voisin, of Celina, sister, Cindy Miars, of Wapakoneta, sister, Mary Helen “Pooch” (Ted) Settlage, of Wapakoneta; and step-father, David Hainline, of St. Marys.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Voisin, and mother, Fetta Grace Hainline.

He was a 1961 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Joe retired from Kerns Chevrolet in Celina, where he was manager of the body shop. He had also previously worked at Katterheinrich Motor Sales in New Knoxville, Jim Bubeck Chevrolet in New Bremen and North Shore Pontiac-Cadillac in Celina.

He was a member of Eagles Lodge Aerie # 767 in St. Marys.

His favorite pastimes included traveling to the Smoky Mountains, camping and model railroading.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2104, at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel0 in St. Marys, with Pastor Jim Sweigart officiating. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post # 9289, following the services.

Visitation will be held from 2–4 and 6–8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.

Memorial contributions may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice.
