About 1912

The Joseph Voisin [00021] and Mary Ann (Yuncker) Voisin [00020] homestead near Beal City, Isabella, Michigan.

The house was situated on a forty-acre farm, where Joseph settled in 1879. The lattice surrounding the porch does not appear in a 1907 photograph, but it does appear in a 1912 photograph. Therefore this photograph was probably taken sometime around 1912.

The house is no longer standing. Harold Joseph Voisin [00083] recalls that kids were not permitted in the parlor. He inherited a writing desk that was located in the parlor.
