This was likely an illegitimate birth in the eyes of the Catholic Church. Anna Maria's husband was probably not Catholic and the Church did not recognize their marriage. Anna Maria eventually did officially marry Karl Hattner on 26 October 1857. Unfortunately baby Ferdinand died 8 July 1855. This is also indicated by the "x" or cross under his name in this record. Therefore he was never officially legitimized by his father before he died.
